Six Flags New Orleans...Worth a trip?

Im heading back to Florida for the summer and was thinking about stopping off for a solo side trip on the way...

I was debating whether to visit Six Flags New Orleans or maybe a park in Texas since im coming from Vegas. Which would you chose?

I have been to SFNO twice. I love the Mega Zeph. It is a fun fast woodie. The park also has Batman and a couple of small coasters. If you ahve a choice of SFOT or SFNO-Go to SFOT.

Fiesta Texas, Astroworld, and Six Flags New Orleans are all going to be on your route if you're coming down I10 and one pass gets you into them all.

If you have to pick one, and you really like coasters, I would pass by NO.

It does not have any unique style coaster, except the woodie, and a coaster dumped by Fiesta because it stunk and hurts.

Pick Fiesta Texas if you like beauty, or AW if you like more coaster choices, and riding the worlds only SWAT.

SFNO has a good collection of flats, and Megazeph is a lot of fun. Stop by if you are passing through, and you could probably get your fill in a half day or so.

I can't speak for SFFT or SFoT, but I'd definitely go to SFAW over SFNO. SFNO is a decent park with good flats and standard coasters, but Astroworld has a better coaster collection, with fewer flats. If you have the time, hit both.

i think ive settled on SFOT...never been before...think id get the most bang for my buck there...plus im flying and from what ive found it easier for me to continue on from there to Orlando versus New Orleans...
