The Industrial Development Board, the nonprofit panel that approves funding for large-scale city projects, is scheduled to consider a proposal Tuesday from Southern Star Amusement to reopen the Six Flags New Orleans site under a new brand. But even with IDB approval, there are questions of whether the deal will move forward while Six Flags is still contractually obligated to pay the city $2.4 million a year through 2017.
