Six Flags New England/Lots of wood in parking lot

hey guys, i was at six flags new england yesturday for the first time in a few weeks, and when i was in line for B:TDK, over at the end of the parking lot to the right of the ride, there was a wooden wall, with thousands of pieces of wood...anyone know what all that wood is for??

nope, i didnt have my camera with me, but anyone that goes to SFNE can clearly see this, as its very large. if you were parked over in that lot, or just road B:TDK you could see it from the queue line.

Its prolly for the 20 foot sound barrier the are constructing, to keep the noise level down in neighboring areas.

I saw it and wondering what it was too. It was just a big, tall wooden wall.

Yeah, It's a new sound barrier.

I would not keep any intentions of getting any big attractions for a couple of seasons until Six Flags can work out all transportation/disruption issues that they agreed to complete when trying to get B:DK approved.

check out the back..thats all the wood im talking about...that pic is alittle old because theres alot more wood now. if it is for the sound wall, which i dont doubt at all because it makes perfect sense, im just wondering why they'd use such small pieces of wood instead of larger ones.

I can't say I disagree with the neighbors... Having the loud noises of park rides at 6 AM wouldn't exactly thrill me.

You're kidding me right? This is SFNE we're talking about. They wouldn't dare test run rides before the parks open. That's why the open most coasters at noon.

Jeez, that's close to the park. I would love to be withing walking distance of a park. I'd be like, "Mom, I'm bored, I think I'm gonna go to Six Flags." Hehehehe, that would be so cool. I bet the entrance is on the other side of the park though. Also, is B:TDK a silent B&M, like Kraken and *I think* Talon? I would certainly want it too be if I lived that close.

Yes, B:TDK is a silent B&M and sfne dude, anything weezer, or pearl jam or nirvana. Maybe weezer's Island in the sun would be a good song for canobies site.
