While no official announcement has been made, the New England floorless has peaked.

It's almost like the drop for B:TR except for a floorless.  But from how the track is laid, it appears that its going to have a really small loop.
I think that that ride looks better than Medusa East (the one floorless I've ridden). It is intense, which most B&M's aren't. A ride doesn't have to bigger to be better (don't you just love hearing that saying over and over?).
titanfan , lol, no offense but you can't tell if a ride is intense from pictures...and since its not even 1/10 built...if you looked at Medusa East when it was being built/pics/etc...it seemed to be similar to Kumba...but from what I hear, Kumba is much more intense in certain points...So please wait till you ride it to make posts like that?

I'm bit surprised to see that twisting drop. After seeing pictures from the new floorless coaster in Taiwan, with almost same layout, I thought that also this coaster was going to have 180 degree turn after the lift and then straight drop.
The only thing that the Taiwan coaster and SFNE's share is the loop, dive loop, and turn-around element. Everything else is layed out differently.
I can't believe how steep that lift hill is. How many degrees do u think it is? My guess is around 38 to 40*.

gonna be a sweet ride, can't wait to see more pics, and to ride it of course
I rode the ride in NoLimits and I was simply saying that I thought that it looked and felt more intense (I can also compare it to a Medusa recreation)
How tall is the lift hill?

Well it's a coaster and I'm very happy that we're getting one.  Most Six Flags parks aren't as lucky as SFNE is and that's a shame, so we should be extremely fortunate that we're even getting a roller coaster during the 2002 season- let alone New England's first B&M.

Six Flags really does care about SFNE in 2002
It looks like the lift is steep enough to be a drop by itself.  I'm very excited by the looks of this coaster so far.  It seems to be small but intense.  Can't wait to see more!

This ride is coming along great. I haven't seen any photos of this ride since October, I think. With SFEG getting a new ride, I hope it's a floorless like this.

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

I like how it quickly turns after the dip. I'm assuming it's going to be an intense layout due to the small size.
