So, with all of the changes that have been going on related to Six Flags season passes being able to be used across all parks, does anyone know how this impacts the older "Six Flags Membership Plans" which were so strongly sold a few years ago? The portal site has very little current info on it (beyond that the drink cups were discontinued...) I know the number of "memberships" must be dwindling, as they have not been available for a few years, btu I also know they were quite popular just a few years ago.
As I am a Diamond Elite Vip membership holder this question is important to me as well. So far, no answer.
I think memberships are going to go away soon. There are too many flavors of tickets and they are going to try to simplify it at some point. I can see it going to just Silver (until Labor Day), Gold (until end of season) and Premier (all season with 2 single use fast lanes and the VIP lounge where applicaple) these passes will offer all the add ons (all park, drink, meals, FastLane) and can be on a payment plan. End of season meaning end of operations for that year at a seasonal park and 12/31 for someone with all parks pass. Then the daily ticket flavors.
Looks like memberships survived in some way for this renewal.

And Holy **** they are giving them away at Great Adventure. I think the Gold pass is cheaper than it was at Canada's Wonderland even with the exchange rate.
They're going to have to give them away at Great Adventure because of the ride removals, and no new coaster next year. They've never seemed to figure out that making operations the number one priority is the most important thing for customer satisfaction.
Imho, of course.

We have our season passes from Six Flags America. I got an email yesterday that they canceled fright fest, but will give a complimentary ticket to Great Adventure to attend theirs.
"We have some important updates for our fans about the fall season here in Maryland.
After much research and planning, we've made the strategic decision to modify our falloperating schedule,
After Labor Day, our park will operate September 6 - November 2: Saturdays: 11am to 7pm Sundays: 11am to 6pm
With a focus on daytime fun, we'll offer the family-friendly fall entertainment and activities of Kids Boo Fest beginning September 13 coupled with your favorite thrill rides. This means that our spooky Fright Fest event will not return this fall.
To commemorate the first anniversary of the merger between Cedar Fair and Six Flags with a special MVP (Most Valuable Pass) sale July 29 through September 1. If you purchase a 2026 Kings Dominion Season Pass during this limited time offer, you'll gain unlimited access to Halloween Haunt this fall, and more than 40 parks now through 2026. This pass will provide unlimited visits to nearby parks such as Kings Dominion and Six Flags Great Adventure in 2025 and all of 2026.
We hope you'll join us for our final fall season. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you in the park soon."
So they are going to throw some cheap passes our way for customer satisfaction as Travis said above. I have a feeling there are going to be more than SFA closing in the not so distant future
It's kind of funny they are giving away tickets to Great Adventure's Fright Fest, when your season pass was already able to get you into Great Adventure's Fright Fest anyhow.
So, reading the fine print, it looks like those $99 gold passes do not include parking, which is $90 more. Prestige Passes still include it. Also, judging by Knotts, I’m not sure if the gold parking add on is good at all parks, you might need a Prestige Passes for that.
2025 Trips: Universal Orlando, Disneyland Resort, Knotts, Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Canada’s Wonderland, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Sea World Orlando, Discovery Cove, Magic Kingdom
Good catch - I was feeling tempted by the offer even though I swore this was my last year getting a pass.
Just checked Kings Dominion and Dorney gold passes include general parking at all parks but Knotts. Prestige for KD gets Preferred Parking everywhere but Knotts where it gets general.
I looked at those because they are my probably renew spots. Since I can't renew through a Six Flags park this season it seems.
So it looks like it's a Knotts only thing with the parking. Not sure why but that's what I found on KI, CP, KD and Dorney sites. All the ones I listed are general parking at all but Knotts on a gold pass.
One other slight weirdness was that Silver pass doesn't get general parking at CW. Don't think that matters to anyone but the locals, but mentioning it anyway.
I'm also not seeing season long locker rentals available at KI. A quick check of other parks shows none at KD, CP, while Carowinds is still showing 2025 season long locker information? Sure hope they don't get rid of these...
