Six Flags Marine World OR Santa Cruz Beach Boardwa

Help! I'll be in Northern California for a little vacation in early June and I have only one day to spend at a thrill park. So, any suggestions on which park I should visit? I visited Six Flags Ohio last year and rode their impulse coaster. I also visited Six Flags America and rode their Roar. I'm leaning toward SCBB but I'd like other opinions.

This has to be the best time of year!

Homepark: Six Flags over Georgia.

SFMW definately. Think about it: SCBB has a great nostalgic atmosphere and a great old wooden coaster...but that's it. The Hurricane is fun, and their flat rides are ok, but that's about it. The miniature golf is fun, but it's just like any other mini golf you've seen, except it's inside. Now SFMW on the other hand, has the best steel coaster in California imo in Medusa. They have an awesome wooden coaster in Roar, which is a little different from SFA's version. Not much different, but different. Then there will be V2, another world class coaster, along with their hang-n-bang Kong and the basic Boomerang. Not to mention the awesome flat rides they've got. Then there are the awesome shows they have. Do SFMW instead of SCBB. You will not regret it. Peace. :)

Just to add to your dilemma, Paramount's Great America is in the area as well. You could do PGA and SCBB in a day. They're about an hour apart.

I've been to both parks and would need more info as to what you look for in a park before rendering a verdict. Are thrill rides your prime motivation in choosing a park? SFMW has more coasters, but SCBB has a classic wooden that is a must, as well as a hearty dose of flat rides. But the animal exhibits at SFMW were overall very good, if your into that stuff; but no ocean beach......................................

go to SCBB it gives you an experiance you cant get many places.
