Six Flags Magic Mountain, 7/13/09

Hours: 10:30-10:00. I stayed from opening to closing. Parking lot was filled to capacity and the park was the most crowded I have ever seen it. I normally don't go to SFMM in July since the lines are very long, but my family offered to pay for a Gold Q-Bot as a birthday present, so I would not have to wait an extra month, until August, to go back. They had 2 trains on every coaster which is able to, and Tatsu had both stations open and 3 trains running.

Here is the day in order:

Revolution: rode once, 15 mins.

Viper: once, 20 mins.

X2: once, 10 min. wait with reservation. Had a 2 1/2 hour line.

Tatsu: once, 5 mins., used reservation. 1 1/2 hour line

Ninja: once, walk on

Superman: once, 5 mins. with reservation. 30 min. line

Colossus: 5 mins. with reservation. 1 hour line.

My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

I think that when we head out there (when I don't know) I will be picking you up. I will even pay to add you on to our GFP. Sounds like a great tiring day.

Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.

Yes, it was great and tiring. I got home at 12:30am, but I had a wonderful time and it was well worth it. If you get the GFP, the extra $10 to add X2 will save you a lot of time. If you ride Terminator late you can get on much faster than earlier in the day, and save the $10 if you want to. On this trip, Terminator had a 2 hour line at 1:00pm, but at 8:00pm it was down to 10 mins. I am going again tomorrow too.
