Six Flags Landscaping

Not one of us can say which park has the best landscaping unless you've visited every single Six Flags park. Even then it would only be an opinion, so instead maybe we should answer what parks have good themeing.

Amen!

SFMM-now maybe I'm a sucker for mountains because I dont see them very often, but the view is wonderful! Plus, the Revolution loop has a nice place and the Goliath tunnel, IMO, is the best coaster tunnel ever, because of the mists. Thats just a few things I like about SFMM's landscape...

SFoG looks really nice too. As does SFMM, but SFoG beats them. Nice mature trees that produce a lot of shade makes a nice touch, especially form a person whose home park is SFGAm whose motto is, "Shade...We don't need no steenking shade!"

My home park is SFSTL, and we ought to have the best theming.  We sure as heck don't have anything else! LOL

Why do people seem to think that SFA has no theming? What do you call that big*****"S" in front of Superman? What about the 17 placards down the Batwing path? How about all the building in either the Olde Boston or Coyote Creek section? Now SFA has a dearth of TREES, but there is theming out there.

At least they tried to theme? i know when i was there it seemed so dead in the midways becuase half the park was inline for batwing, and there are older sectiopns of the park with a theme but they are really low budet IMO and there is not alot of shade in the park nor did i see any flower beds or nicely mowed grass under the coaster or around.it was all dead grass or concreat and i think that if that park appllied itself to the little things like that it could be alot better.

You have to remember that SFA was not always a SF park and a lot of the landscaping and themes were put in place before SF took over. The Gotham City section is the newest area to be added since SF started running the park. That area has been themed very nicly.
Mr. Mighty Mouse, please, check your spelling and grammar before you post. I can tell you that there are plenty of flowers and landscaping in SFA. I was also there on one of the days the landscaping company was there. Give it a couple of years, and Gotham City will look really nice. Trees need time to grow after all. And actually Rescue131, most people consider Gotham City to be the weakest section when it comes to themeing.

If you're talking about neatness, gardens, nice grass, etc: I've only been to five Six Flags parks, but as far as I can tell, it's a toss-up between SFoT and SFStl. SFEG comes in 3rd, then SFFT and lastly, SFAW.

If you're talking about theming: Of those five, SFoT, SFStl, and SFFT all have great theming. SFEG and SFAW have some terrible theming.

Intamin Fan, I'm suprised to hear that many consider the Gotham section of SFA the weakest in themeing. I agree with you that it will look better when the trees mature, but I think it looks alright now, as far as all the rides fitting into one theme (DC Heros) as say compared to the western section where Mind Eraser seems somewhat out of place themeing wise or the southwest area where Two Face is. The themed areas of the parks are nice, but to me, its the ride that really counts.

I've been to about 16 SF parks, and the best all round landscaping I've seen is at SFMM. I've not been to SFSTL though.

Best theming has to go to SFFT, it is also nicely landscaped.

Worst landscaping goes to SFA, parts of the park are baron. At least SFAW has landscaping - shame it's all died and overgrown though.

Anyway, The best landscaping I have seen is St Loius...with Great Adventure  second.  Both Parks are in a secluded forest......big trees.... lots of shade, beautiful gardens etc.
