Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

Again, silly me for expecting to go to ANY theme park and expecting to have a good experiance.

In my whole life I have never been to such a lousy park. And I have been to quite a few parks.

Ride ops walking away from controls...You bet I was concerned. What if there was a trouble light, or someone stood up on the lift hill? How would she respond to that situation if she was nowhere near the controls?

Parking.......there were absolutly NO signs saying that it was parking for six flags, just fairground parking.

Motion theater......Well, the theater at pki was great. The theater at sf dident even match up with what was hapening on the screen. It was like sitting in a jackhammer.

Overpriced food........ever been to kennywood? I have paid $5 or even $6 for a cheeseburger before, but $8 for a 3 hour old cheeseburger....not for me.

The horrid show.......yes I am a coaster lover, but I also like to see the shows as well. And this shaow was right up there with the worst shows I have ever seen.

Parts falling off a coaster......I wont mention the coaster, but the park fell off during a ride while we were waiting on the platform and they STILL continuied to load and operate the ride untill maintnance came and shut them down(by the way, the maintnance guys dident look too happy at the ride ops for running the ride after a part fell off....you could see them yelling at them)

Slow ride ops...you are correct when you say it is not just a problem at sfkk, but they just diddent seem to care at all about fast loading/unloading, they were too buisy playing around with eachother. It must just be me, but a 5 min load time on chang is a bit long.

When its my turn to run a park...give me a break. Why would you have a 1 train operation on a coaster with a long line? If I did run a park call me silly, but I would want my guests to have a minnimal wait on any ride. And building an unload platform...why? Other parks with simuiler ride dont have unload platforms, and the get by just fine.

No sign on t-2...again, silly me for thinking that a coaster would have a sign showing where the entrance is. Why should I have to search like we did?

Chipping paint.......To this extent, yea I am going to have a concern. Being on a tight budgit is no excuse for this.

Rides all beat up.......when I say that I mean that they all look beat up and some would look a ton better if they would just put a coat of paint on them. Again, a simple fix.

Dirty midways......Is it that tuff to hire someone to sweep the midways? Its a simple job, and it will leave a better impresion at any park.

The bridge.....when i crossed this bridge the first time in the morning, it wasent bad. But when the park got buisy it was like a bottleneck. The need to make it wider.

And the racoon poop..........Yes, even the ride ops were pointing it out. It was right next to the break fins on this coaster. Once again, call me silly. But if a park cant even clean up animal fesies(sp) up off of a ride platform, than what else are they overlooking?

Just a reminder, it wasent just me that noticed these things...it was a whole group of peeps that did. And dont you worrie, We all plan on staying away from this crap hole in the future.

Overall, the day was fun. Thunder Run deserves more credit. The Chang crew sucked. The season pass line was amazingly quick. The crowds were so small early that we got 4 rides on Change and Thunder Run, 3 on Greezed Lightning, and 2 the vekoma clone and the racer (one on each side). The motion simulator was kind of funny, but I have never really been on a good one. Overall, it was a fun half day.

Crazy Horse: I'm sure they won't care if you don't come back. They have enough quality individuals from the backwoods of Kentucky that showed up later in the day and are willing to pay with teeth (unless they are out).

"Again, silly me for expecting to go to ANY theme park and expecting to have a good experiance."

No offense but it sounds like you went expecting to have a crappy time and it turned into a self-fulfilling prophesy.

ch, Why should I care what you think about the park if you can't even go a paragraph or two without a spelling or grammar mistake? The worst part is that it looks like you only thought you had one mistake!

There were plenty of sweeps when I went. Are you sure you weren't seeing leaves instead of trash? I know a lot of people who have that problem.

Parking isn't that confusing and more people park in that area than those going to SFKK.

Oh my gosh!! The park fell off of a ride?! How did you make it out alive?! That's something I would like to see as well.

Who cares that T2 didn't have a sign there? Did you need a sign to tell you that you had to cross the bridge to get to the rest of the rides?

The ride ops at Chang were moving fairly quickly. I'll guess our load time was less than two minutes both times we rode with no waits.

Why does it matter if there is one-train op if there's no one in line? The only coaster I would have considered another train for on my last visit was T2 with a 10 minute wait.

The raccoon poop was obviously theming and the ride ops wanted you to notice what special enhancements they had done with the place. Duh! ;)

Just kidding on the last part, but I didn't notice anything this time or any time before.

Hey, if it's one or two words, I don't mind. We all make our mistakes. I suppose it would be helpful if I pointed them out for future reference.

experiance-> experience
absolutly-> absolutely
hapening-> happening
wont-> won't
continuied-> continued
untill-> until
maintnance-> maintenance
diddent-> didn't
eachother-> each other
minnimal-> minimal
simuiler-> simulator
budgit-> budget
tuff-> tough
impresion-> impression
buisy-> busy
racoon-> raccoon
break-> brake
cant-> can't
fesies-> feces
wasent-> wasn't
dont-> don't
worrie-> worry

Those aren't all of the mistakes, but I hope I helped you get on the road to recovery. :)

I won't get into the "word nazi" argument but it is a fact that those who can spell correctly and use proper grammar are usually taken more seriously than those who do not. That's not to say the occasional error won't happen when you post at CBuzz. I guess that is what the edit button is for, right? ;)
