Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and Six Flags Over Georgia

Taking a trip to SSKK and SFOG next Sunday and Monday. What should I expect? I've heard bad things about Kentucky Kingdom, but still want to try it. Also, how about Six Flags over Georgia?
Well, I think that SFKK is not that bad. If you like stand-up coasters then you'll like Chang. The rest of the rides are so-so. SFOG is really quiet a good park. A really good selection of coasters, although they could do with a hypercoaster. Definently plan to spend all day here.
I agree with Steel Venom that SFOG is a very nice park as far as the chain goes. It has some beautiful landscaping, and a very nice coaster line up (Featuring the awesome Mindbender). It's also got some theming here and there so it's not just a bland & dull atmosphere. The Employees are also much better this season as well.

Be prepared to walk at SFOG. Getting from one side to other is a nice hilly walk. It's still a nice park though. If you decide to skip SFKK you wont miss much. Hope for a good crowd there or you'll have to wait for one train all day.
Actually, Thunder Run at SFKK is pretty good too. If you are in the area and haven't been to Holiday World you might want to add or substitute it. It's just about an hour from SFKK and is a terrific park with 2 of the world's best woodies.
Thunder Run! Thunder Run! Thunder Run!

Ride Thunder Run!

Thunder Run is so much fun.

Edit:Dang, correcting of the subliminal message

Tunder Run?

I will also be attending SFKK on Sunday. Just how far is SFOG from there? Also, I agree with coastertigger that you should make a stop at Holiday World.
SFOG is about 8-9 hours from SFKK. (Louisville-ATL)... also depending on traffic and how fast you drive ;)

Thanks. Just a tiny bit of the way for a weekend trip. I was hoping it was closer so I could catch both. Maybe next time.
Thanks for the responses. We have been to Holiday World and agree that it is a great place to go. The reason we are going to Six Flags Over Georgia is that we are on our way to Florida. The trip from SFKK to SFOG is actually about 6 hours and 45 minutes door to door, so it is not really that bad. The fact that both parks close relatively early makes the driving that much easier. On Sunday SFKK closes at 8pm and on Memorial Day, SFOG will close at 6pm.
