Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom- Is It Dead?

I visited KK earlier this year and I will never go back. It is the worst park I have ever been to. The ride ops don't care, the ground was littered with garbage from the day before, the landscaping was not kept up, many rides were in desperate need of care. This park is without a doubt the worst park I have ever been to. I will not return.
Jeesh with the "neglect" stuff. If they know they arent going to get A larger crowd, they arent going to put all their money into it. Its not Los Angeles, Chicago or Jersey, I doubt Kentucky would get A larger crowd than those. Its A nice small park, doesnt need anymore than that.

Coaster schmoaster, what they really need is another (better?) bridge....and HW's staff (good luck there)....oh, and some more grease for that CCI in the back of the park!

Just wait 'till they get Shockwave! ;)

chris, I thought Shockwave was going down to TX...oh wait, you mean it's STAYING.....all this talk of a new coaster for SFKK is really quite disappointing when the PERFECT coaster sits in storage at SFoG.....(footprint, inversions, sit-down, steel, cost)....Viper is THE coaster for SFKK to get....but obviously I'm not the one who makes the decisions for SF...(the stock would be at 20 if that were the case)....;)

SFKK has improved a lot in the past year (based on 1 visit each year - proximity to HW does have its benefits)....and I thought it was a MUCH better park with NO new coaster....

I really have no clue, but your first idea (a better bridge) is by far the best.

I'm just gunning for "JAotM." :)

As far as an impluse is concerned, don't forget what SFMW did with their V2

chris, you mean you're gunning for MY "catbird's seat"....LOL....good luck, you'll need it.....

CowbboyCurtis.....interesting, when Goku2216 mentioned the 150-160ft range, the v2.1 at SFMW came immediately to mind....it'd be kinda funny to see an impulse get built that way ON PURPOSE....;)

....but with SF's decreasing capital expenditure budget, and the amazing ride on Viper, I want it re-installed somewhere SOON, before the ride deteriorates....

gator - Correct again. Sticking Tidal Wave/Viper in at SFKK would make so much more sense to me than a new Intamin Impulse.

You get a better ride (IMO) for less coin.
