Six flags is now charging you to print tickets at home.

I bought some Mt. Olympus tickets in person last year, but I can't remember why.

We're going down to Orlando specifically to hit the waterparks this summer. We normally go in Febraury, which isn't reliably waterpark weather. Interestingly, Disney does not sell their waterpark-only tickets or APs online.

At Mt Olympus, we just got our tickets at check in because we stayed there, which we booked online ;)

We stayed at this place in a 2BR, which was nice, but next time I'll probably spend the extra points and stay here instead.

I can't think of the last time I bought a ticket for something (a park, show, movie, travel, anything really) through actual human interaction.

Well, I was using the speech for effect. Obviously, I can think of the last time.

Last time I bought tickets in person was Waldameer last Labor Day. But in my defense, there is no electronic option. :)

I buy tickets from actual people and not robots all of the time. I am to blame for the human race's lack of advancing into the "future". lol

That doesn't surprise me. :)

I mentioned it only because I really don't know that I had a good reason, not so much as a challenge. I almost always do everything electronically these days. I'm honestly mystified as to why I didn't pre-purchase those. I *knew* I was going and I think I knew what I wanted, but for some reason never got around to buying them.

Not pre-purchasing cost me a few extra bucks in the end, too.

Here's another one I just found in addition to the examples from Screamscape:

Hershey offers no discount for online purchase ($51.95) and charges a convenience fee of $1.25 per ticket.

I just received an update from my Hersheypark fan page on Facebook (man, is that a weird sentence...) and they are offering a $14 discount for online purchases with a code you get from Facebook. It's good for any operating day in May. That's not bad.

(Of course that means the discount is really only $12.75, but whatever... ;) )
