Six Flags is getting lazy...

I don't mean this to be a bashing thread but I thought it was sort of funny when I was looking at some coasters on Six Flags website and saw they had a wrong picture of one of their coasters. http://www.sixflags.com/parks/stlouis/Rides/ninja.html

The picture shows Ninja from SFOG. That is not the same at all to the one in SFSL. I mean is it that hard to get a picture of one of your coasters for the website. I mean really.....

Once again I don't mean to be bashing Six Flags. I like Six Flags so I wouldn't want to bash them.

i'm not sure what to put here..

Happens all over their site. Some parks even have coasters listed which aren't in the park, let alone with the wrong picture (Batman Knight Flight (SFWoA) was linked to the page for Batman Dark Knight (SFNE) with stats for a Batman: The Ride since that site was launched)

Its not laziness, its cost-cutting. And really who other than enthusiasts will really be able to tell the difference between Ninja at SFOG and Ninja at SFStL? Same manufacturer, same trains, same track style, same support style.

Sorry...this is a non-issue IMHO.

This is SOP at Six Flags. Last year's Wyandot Lake commercials showed POV and third-person footage of a Vekoma SLC, when the only coaster the park has is a junior woodie.

the V2 listed on the SFGAm site is wrong, it's even the wrong colors.
Same with this.

I brought this up just because I found it interesting.

Heck, this year's WL commercials are all footage from other parks. At least this year the coaster shown IS wooden, though I can't seem to recall gold-colored 6-seater cars on Sea Dragon...

All of the track on the Sheikra posters were Vekoma track. Even the desktop picture http://www.4adventure.com/buschgardens/fla/_downloads/wallpaper_ride_1024x768.jpg from there website is Vekoma track. I'd think B&M would have had a problem with that. *** Edited 6/22/2005 9:10:56 PM UTC by Bartman2***

Wow that Sheikra poster is pretty funny. Notice the still got the wheel assembly like B&M, and the guide wheels are about to hit the ties lol.

This comes up at least once a month.
