Actually Six Flags owned an auto museum in Flint or Saginaw, MI (I can't remember which). I think it was during the 80's. So they did have have an attraction in MI, it just wasn't an amusement park.
It was called Six Flags AutoWorld it stated out as a huge museum that was half empty(over sized building). They tryed adding small amusement parks to it but that failed. It was located in Flint.
Rumor.... Six Flags is going to build a park in Michigan.
