Paul and Bond Drabek from Negative-G head to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois to try out the new X-Flight roller coaster during the park's media day.

I am very excited about the X-flight coaster at Great America. My friend David and I might make a trip out there later this summer to ride it. It has been a few years since I have been to the park. The last time we went, Superman was their new ride. Or, maybe it was De-Ja-Vu. However, De-ja-vu never did open while we were there. So, it might as well have been a tree. Pretty to look at, but not fun if you can't climb it.
This is what I am talking about in my other posts, when I say that if you are going to run a park, you should at least be willing to give your guests something to get excited about, and not just nickle and dime them at every turn and offer nothing. I'm sure that X-flight is going to be a huge hit.
Great America is one of my favorite parks. I also have a lot of friends who live in Chicago. Maybe I might be able to talk them into a few days of coaster riding. I will also be going there once again for pride, in June.
