Based on the price they are charging for pre-online ordering of admission tickets, it appears that the general admission for the 2005 season has increased by $4.

Sure, they won't recover the cost associated with what they are spending to construct this park as quickly as a separate gate, but IMO , this will increase attendance even moreso.

PKI seems to be successfull with it so why can't SFGAm do the same?

In the long run, I think it's a good move. Sure, some will question the business decision. I even have questions there. Here's my bottom line. With Chicago's unpredictable weather, I think it's kind of a hard sell for a second gate. Last summer's average temperature was about 72 degrees. Not bad. But, when you factor in the 8-10 mph winds that we often get, it makes that 72 degrees seem a little cold.

I think it was a good move. As a separate gate, I wasn't planning on visiting HH. Now, I might take a round in the Lazy River.

You don't think Six Flags would want to use weather as an excuse that numbers were lower than expected, do you? [sarcasm off]
