Six Flags Great America Trivia Test

Hey if it can be done for PKI, then I'm doing it to. It's not quite as long, but I have some stumpers in there.

What auto manufacturer once sponsored the Grand Music Hall? And how many does it seat?

Where was the Hometown Fun Machine originally located?

And what was its name?

What ride was located where Batman: The Ride is presently?

What is (was) the full name of the streetcar that ran in the front areas of the park? And what provides the power for it?

What company sponsored the Great American Raceway? And what was GAR's former name? And for extra credit, who built the cars for it?

What was the former name of Aunt Marthas Boarding House?

Name the oldest ride at SFGAm?

What was the original name of the Whizzer?

What aquatic show(s) were once held at the Wilderness Theatre?

Former name of the Mooseburger Lodge?

Before it was Looney Tunes National Park, and even before it was Bugs Bunny Land, what was its name?

What bank sponsored Sky Trek Tower?

What structure was demolished to make room for V2?

I think the trolleys use to be calld Mollies Trollys or something like that.

The light House was demolished to make room for V2.

MooseBurgr Lodge was Klondike Cafe.

Oldest ride at SFGAm is the Ameri-Go-Round

Willards Whizzer was the originl name.

Wasnt the kids area called Fort Fun?

Aquatic shows = Dolphin, and High Dive show

How did I do ;-)

Nope, the Industrial Revolution was a Himilaya ride without the external shell and only ran forwards.

I believe the Music Hall was sposored by one of the Mopar companies (Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth) but I could be wrong.

The original ride that was in the place of B:TR may have been the Whirlygig which was relocated when Tidal Wave was installed two years after the park's opening but again that is off memory and not a 1976 park map.

The kids area was indeed Fort Fun, however, that wasnt the original name when the park first opened.

While I dont remember a dolphin show at the aquatic stadiium, I do remember the high dive show and a seal show of some type.

Oldest ride in the park should be the carousel in County Fair.

SFGAmNut got most of the others that I know.

The GAR was The Barney Ofield Speedway(sp?) and I think Ford sponsored it.

That's right!! The Barney Oldfield Speedway!!! I forgot completely about that one. I always preferred the cars over in Orleans place though. What the hell were those called?

The Hometown Fun Machine is behind Whizzer now.

No, it used to be like in the middle of the Whizzer, now its like next to it.

Oh, and American Motors used to sponsor the Grand Music Hall and First Federal of Chicago sponsored the Sky Trek Tower

Was the Mooseburger lodge Klondike Cafe or Snowshoe Saloon? I always got the two mixed up.
