Bedecked in red capes, Six Flags Great America PR representatives Susan Storey and Michelle Hoffman played a tape at last weekend's ACE No Coaster Con that tweaks the public relation specialists for downplaying one of the worst-kept secrets in amusement park circles. The park will announce the new coaster Feb. 4 simultaneously in Chicago and Milwaukee.

"your mother was a hampster and your father smelt of elderberries now leave before I taunt you a second time!)
so its basically just a S:UF clone, those six flagians, what can ya do with em?
and does SF really say WT isnt a coaster?

New shows? I recall a circus and mardi gras type parade when we were there last year, so that doesn't sound so "new". An ice show? Sounds interesting.
Looking forward to Cbuzzcon and my first flyer!

CPLady. I dont recall seeing a circus at SFGAm last year. The last time they had an *actual* circus was when Marriott owned the park. The big white tent housing American Eagle's queue lines used to be for the circus.
The only animals they had this last season was a small petting zoo in the children's area.

jeremy, you say that about any Anton and I'm gonna take off these gloves....;) Wait, no I won't my hands would get cold...LOL.
Seriously, I wonder what the new ride will be....at least they'll *announce* on Feb. 4 and eliminate all the suspense....;)
Good call Bob O. That is very feasible and also makes sense. It would be nice to get the Wilderness theatre back in gear for public shows. It is a nice theatre that had great shows like the Dolphin presentations and the High Dive show.

2 superheroes in Gurnee next season? Oh the humanity. :)
Chitown, I didn't see the "circus", but that's the way my husband described the show near Raging Bull. Maybe it was just aerialists and acrobats? I didn't realize animals were required to call it a "circus". Think Cirque de Soleil. I also recall a Russian troupe who called themselve a circus.

Yeah, what your husband saw were the Chinese Acrobats. You are right though about the term "circus". For some reason I think of Ringling Bros. when I hear the word circus. It very well could be something that doesnt have animals.
However, it would be nice if they did have a traditional animal and clown circus show.
