Six Flags Great America Questions!

Sure, having the extra percentage off of food and merchandise would be nice, but to say that the park is taking us for granted is ridiculous. I went online and paid $75.00 for my pass and bought the parking pass for $40.00.

Total= $115.00

I have been to the park about 15 times this year and also the CBCon03 event which shaved off $30.00 from the admission. I also took a trip to SFKK this year.

Total if not for having the passes? $815.00

I have saved $700.00 this year thanks to the season and parking pass that SFGAm supposedly takes for granted.

I really can overlook 10-15% off of in park spending and so should you.

The truth is 10-15% off ur food first off isn't going to save you much at all maybe 50 cents at most. I have a season pass and SFGAm is my home park and I diffently agree with Chitown. Season passes give you so much more to make you not really care at all about a minor discount. SFGAm is one of the top 3 parks in Six Flags chain for a reason and yes food is not going to be the greatest and yes it's going to be expensive to where you feel riped off but thats a park for you and thats what your going to get. Now when I go, since I have a pass, I feel the price of food is less dreadfull because I walk out of the park spending $15 at most. Now I call that a bargain.

Until SFGAM does things for their passholders like Paramount Parks do or Cedar Point as examples i do think they take us for granted.
Do we get a deal if we go to the parks often, yes but we do let get less than what is offererd at other theme parks.
And by having subpar food/merchandise SF parks leave much money out of their cash register and with their pay for riding scams they upset many of their customers.
And because of things like the above it is no wonder the company is highly in debt and few people have a postive opinion of the company of how they run their parks.
Few People? I don't mean to be rude, but have you ever spoken about Six Flags to anyone but an enthusiast. I live near SFGAm and hear people talking about it all the time. Sometimes it's hard not to laugh because they really don't know what they are talking about, but I get the gist that the general public doesn't know any better and holds them in the highest regards.

Anyway, I do agree with some of you that SFGAm is taking us for granted. I went to SFFT and was surprised by them letting us have a discount with a season pass and was extreamly annoyed when the employees of SFGAm didn't let me.
