Maybe I misread it, but is SFGA closed for most of September??? It stops at September 7 then doesn't have a date till like September 28.

A lot of parks have private events on September weekends. Kings Island is in the same boat, which is unfortunate, as I was hoping to snag that Banshee credit this year. :)

That just sucks. That blows on so many levels. Sorry about you missing out on Banshee. It's a good time. I like it.

Which is it? For the record, I'm fine with either...

Here's a September date for you. All are welcome to this private event and it's a blast. There's special entertainment and short lines, lots of rides can be had.
Season passes are not honored and on-line ticket price is 40 bucks. If you're unsure or want to watch the weather, gate price is 45.

Dorney used to have buyouts for most of September as well for a while until Haunt started by the 2nd weekend of September. I can understand why they closed on those days since even up until the last year or two and I'm sure this year as well, the park hardly has anyone there. I remember the last Sunday in September in 2012 I was there until closing (non Haunt night) and 15 minutes after closing there were 11 cars in the lot.

I like how Great Adventure handles buyouts. They are either on a Friday in September when the park would be closed anyway or they have the buyout after the park closes for the night so the park is still able to be open regular hours for everyone else.

Kings Island's schedule always used to be daily through Labor Day, then 1 weekend the first weekend in October.

The other 3 or 4 weekends were always private buyouts, and this was before they did any Halloween/Haunt events. Three weeks of normally good weather and not being able to ride coasters really sucked and blew. That final operating weekend was a do not miss event when I was growing up.
