Troy and I finished our near-perfect day with a rare double Bull ride. They were very kind to let peeps fill empty seats throughout the day. Still, Viper has got to be the most terrifying (and awesome) thing to ever hit Gurnee. Thanks SF for such a great ride! And thanks to all involved in arranging this event. I'll see everyone at BeastBuzz for some insane snapping, launching and picnicing....

The Fastlane offering more than made up for the cancelled ERT. Using those passes allowed us to get multiple rides on all of the coasters and still leave the park around 7pm. I agree that Viper's lack of Fastpass was a bit of a bummer, though.
This was my first time visiting SFGAm and only my second time attending a CB event. You've proven once again that these events are much more fun than your typical entusiast event. I think a lot of that comes from the people we have here on CB and their very unenthusiast-like attitudes.
My only real gripe about the entire day would have to be the food at the event. I found it to be just a little sub-par when comparing it to that offered at other events. Not too big of a deal though...the free drink coupons made up for that.
Too bad we had to pay for those beers we picked up after riding 'Vu... ;)
Brad you're as bad as me with... uh "custom" words.
Hm..... Batman with alcohol. That's just wrong. I don't know my own name getting off that ride when I'm sober.
Alcohol, however, may make u forget about Bull's trims.... I may have to try that.
Brad: You forgot to bring up your "discussion" of Shockwave at lunch ;)
Certain victory.

Correct spelling helps - picnicking ;)
Sounds like you guys all had fun. Looking forward to BeastBuzz (I'll be one of those 'last minute' registers that you guys love, Jeff)

Although the retro parks offered the best experience, I've never seen fans get into a game like they do at Wrigley. And it's far from a dump - it's something like 80 years old, what do you expect?
