Six Flags Great America???

Where is Six Flags Great America? Is Six Flags Great America a good park? How does this park compare to others (CP, PKI, SFMM, ect)? I would go to the Six Flags web site, but everytime I do my computer freezes.

Gurnee, Illinois - North of Chicago.

Possibly the best Overall of the Six Flags chain - a good mix of coasters, flat rides, cleanliness, and friendly staff.

Great America is definitely worth a visit.

when do you plan on going

SFGAm used to be my home park (then I moved to Orlando, so take your pick) It is a great park. The roller coasters are of a great variety, an out and back, a twister, hyper twisted, 3 inverted/feet hangers, standup, flyer. almost everything (no 4D ;-) ). great park. if you want to eat outside of the park, there is outback/wendy's/burgerking/mcdonalds/krispy kreme within walking distance, and a little caesars but you can't eat inside. great park, good flatrides, clean, fun, great.

Sorry about that but what I was saying was sfgam is about tied with PKI but the beast is the best coaster between the 2 parks. PKI and SFGAM are both better than CP IMO!

As for GAm, it's one of my favorite SF parks. They've got probably the best crews in the chain, and I can't get enough of Bull and Viper! :)

As much as i may complain at times about my home park-SFGAM- i have found it to be the best SF that i have visited.
It is well worth visiting, just dont go on a weekend.

I would second it as the best overall SF park. It doesn't have some of the crazy stuff that MM or CP have, but it is very well rounded and has a great variety. Viper at night in 1-3 is just absolutely insane. Bull is my least favorite B&M/Intamin hyper, but still a decent ride. You really just can't go wrong at that park.
