Six Flags Great Adventure's Batman Paint Job

Is Great Adventures Batman going to be painted black again, or another color?
Probably just the same color only new again. Def. won't get the new B:TR color because Nitro is right next to it.

Too bad- the yellow & black (or purple & black) looks great! But after seeing the ride look like garbage foe the past few years, I'll be happy to see any new paint.

And I believe that the batman's that were painted "black" are really a real dark blue.

No, pretty sure they are black. And who said if they change the color that it has to be yellow. What about light gray? That is the color of the new one in New Orleans, at least the supports are.

I sure hope it is the same colors as SFMM. Those, while not as good was La Ronde/Madrid, are still better than the current one.

I like Dark Knight's colors, but that might clash with Nitro's colors.

i just hope they can do somethin to those rusted rails. is it possible to throw some paint on them to cover the rust?

I guess I enjoy the rusted feel of SFGAm, Gadv, SFoG, and SFStL's Batmans. It fits the theming well.

Ride It: they would probably sandblast the ride to remove the paint and any rust, then throw a coat of paint on top of it, would look brand new, such as the SFoT BTR when it arrived - http://www.coasterphotos.com/SFOT/bman2.htm

BeastFreak: SFNO's BTR hasn't been painted yet, it was painted like that as Gambit at Thrill Valley, you can probably expect a repaint to the yellow track and purple support color scheme, or something around there.

But, with Nitro near BTR at SFGAdv, you might expect a BTDK color scheme, it shouldn't even remotely look like Nitro, and I think it would look pretty cool on BTR, it would definately look different.

I always thought a red spine, purple rails and purple supports would look awsome on a Batman invert.

Maybe the Scream! colors would do good on one also.

Besides, in the article they said that S:UF would go great on the Boardwalk because it is red like GASM. Therefore, painting Batman yellow would seem practical so it would blend well with Nitro.

I seriously doubt that SF will stray from the original color scheme of their Batman, I was just voicing my hopes for new colors. I am sure that the repaint will be black, as it was when the ride opened.

By the way, I am pretty sure that the original Batman @ SFGAm was very dark blue. Not sure about the other "black" ones.

Is it me or dose the Gambit or Batman the ride going to SFNO look like it has a difrent design? or maybe it is the way the picture was taken

no woodencyclone, its just mirrored. reversed. looks cool though. its the same layout but it drops off to the right instead of the left.

If they change the color at all, i think a dark purple track would look slick. kind of like B:TDK af SFNE.

Those colors on a Batman themed coaster? What are you thinking?

Yeah why not? It would look a heck of a lot better than it does now. I also don't think it will ruin the themeing. I just can't stand walking through what appears top be a junkyard. I know it's themeing, but please.

I've used those colors on No Limits and RCT and they work great. Hey... I'm sure no one thought the yellow would work, and look at it.

I was just saying that the coaster was grey because the fabricators produced some new supports for the ride to fit the landscape and shipped them off as grey. They do all the painting of the track and supports for the new B&M's before they go to the parks. Plus the location where I saw the supports only makes the track. The other location makes the supports and send them to the other to be painted. So why would they paint the supports at the second location only to be repainted once arrived in New Orleans. I don't think SF has the time to repaint all the supports and get the ride up in time.
