a quick apology to SFGA fans out there....dont want to offend ya, but i was dissapointed. for years now, ive wanted to hit great adventure, and i was really let down. out of like 10 or more coasters, only 3 were worth any wait. 3!!! ok..Nitro, was AWESOME!! it really was...especially at 10pm!! wow!! um, batman and robin:the chiller...really cool. robin was closed, but batman rocked!! you hit that first loop completely vertical!!! wow!! 3rd, i know this is going to sound dumb, i LOVED the Scream Machine!!! it renewed my faith in Arrow Oldies :) i mean scream machine was incredible, and it doesnt relay bang your head that bad at all, evenin the back!! here are the negatives...Medusa..thrased my ears..could have been awesome, but that ruined it...skull mountain?? give me a break!!! they should name it sleep mountain....sorry but it was WAY boring!! viper was closed..it looked cool, but i heard rumors its a head basher. rolling thunder was like a torture device from the Inquisition..i felt like my rib cage was going to cave in. batman the ride was cool, but it was over way to quick. i wish it was a little longer and taller..tried twice to ride stuntmans freefall, but it kept breaking down...last but not least, the runaway mine train...that was actually pretty cool, but the train is way too small....tough to fit in....well, im sorry if i offended anyone, but hey, it was really not worth 45 bucks...at least i had 12 dollars off coupons. hopefully ill have a better experince next time!! for a real east coast Six Flags, head to Maryland!!! SFA ROCKS!!!! go Batwing, Go SUperman!!!!!!!

How can you hate MEDUSA, the WORLD's FIRST FLOORLESS COASTER Seriously, are you stupid (no a-fence), but still, how come Medusa is so bad. And you are saying that GASM rocked, it's a horrible ride because it's just like Shockwave at SFGAm and SW has the worst HEAD BANGING EVERY. Worst ride ever.

Ok, settle down. People have different preferences on what they like. He obviosly does not care for Medusa, and loves GASM. So what? Just because thats his opinion, it doesn't change everyone else's.
Something that everyone I know thinks is weird about me is I think Whizzer is the 3rd best ride at SFGAm. They think I'm insane for liking it so much and they make fun of me for it. I could care less though, because I know that they are acting immature by doing so, and not agnowlaging other people have different opinions.
Also, I'm guessing your track record is accurate because it's there. You have not ridden GASM, so don't say it sucks. You have not ridden Medusa @ SFGAdv, so don't judge that either. Once you've ridden them, judge them if you wish. Otherwise, don't. Even though GASM is a near clone of Shockwave, doesn't mean you should say it sucks. For all you know, it's smoother than Raging Bull in it's first season.

I say........ SFNE ALL THE WAY!!
I did notice a bit of headbanging on medusa right after the cobra roll. It wasn't that bad but it was the worst I've ever had on a b and m. I do agree with vacoaster on GASM. It is an underrated ride. The biggest problem I've had on this coaster is that I always get stapled bad in the first loop.

Good luck in philly j.r.
Whoa, settle down guys (or girls). There's no need to get hostile. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. People have different body sizes, different tolerances, and different experiences. Calling someone stupid you've never met is well, stupid. vacoasterfreak, I'm defending your opinion, but the cheerleading at the end of the review was in bad taste, even though SFA is my homepark and I love it too. Did you ride any of the flat rides at SFGAdv.? You might have thought better of the park if you had.

Batwing-Bow Down
I do respect your opinion, and even agree with you about GASM, but you were a little harsh. SFGAdv is considered by many to have one of the best steel coaster line-ups around b/c of the quality, diversity, and uniqueness of the steel coasters. But anyway you are entitled to your opinion. But next time you go to SFGAdv. be sure to check out the flat rides, they are amazing.
On another note, yes Medusa is dishing out a little headbanging, which is very tolerable. This is due in part to the wheels, which appear to need replacing, but it is mainly due to the fact that it is running like a demon. The first two years it ran smooth and was awesome. Now this great ride is intense and proves that B&M is capable of producing rides with "force" something many people criticize them for lacking.
I noticed Medusa being a little rough but i love it and t also love GASM. SFGAd is my home park and i think it sucks. I went to SFA and relized how crappy GAd IS.
hey everyone, it was cool hearing your replies to my forum...a few more things in defense...regarding the flat rides at GAdv, most of them were actually closed when i was there...evolution, spinmeister,...they all looked awesome, but were closed. time warp was awesome though :) and to the stealth guy, im not stupid...ive been riding coasters since i was two, and i know a lot about them. and, like everyone said, its my opinion. following the cobra roll on Medusa, your ears are nothingless than trashed..not if your 5 feet tall, but still :) now, GAdv wasent all that bad i guess. its just not really worth 45 bucks to get in, ya know?? and yeah, i did go overboard with the cheering for SFA at the end, but it is a better park. but still, i would love to go back to GAdv..cause the rides i did enjoy, i THOROUGHLY enjoyed!! Six Flags is indeed much better than paramount..i grew up 10 minutes from PKD...grew up ridin the grizzly, rebel yell...but after finally, FINALLY getting to experince Six Flags, my heart has been won over:) all thats left is Cedar Point...which i will make it there one day if i have to CRAWL!!! peace out all :)

a toture device????? rolling thunder?!!?! NO WAY! my friend is a spoiled smoothie lover and he likes that ride!
I rode Medusa last month and the front row was as smooth as ever but, the back row...OUCH my ears!
