Six Flags Great Adventure officially announces end for Kingda Ka

Kingda Ka, the tallest roller coaster in the world, is permanently shut down at Six Flags Great Adventure as the park makes way for a new roller coaster set to break records, officials said Thursday.

Michigan's Adventure is themed to the trailer park equivalent of an amusement park. Pretty convincing if you ask me.

I'm just happy we got another front row lap this season. It's a shame.

Coney mall and The Boardwalk are highly themed to look like traditional amusement parks. lol

One of my RCT projects, unfinished, was a theming of Michigan's Adventure along the lines of the original California Adventure ... an area for the great lakes, for farmland, for Motown, etc. I even had plans to include a restaurant called Timber-Rider's. Alas, I don't think New Six Flags Worldwide will ever take me on as a consultant.

No, Timber-Rider’s has to be the name of the deer petting zoo.
