Alrighty...Great Adventure is my home park, so I think I can help ya out...If you want some discount tix...take some diet coke cans...they have buy-one get one free offers on them..Now for park strategy.

First off things you should stay away from:

Viper(don't have to worry bout that one though, it closed for the whole season)

Skull Mountain-don't waste your time with this one.

First off...go on a weekday, preferably(sp?) mid-week. This will keep low crowds in the park. When you first arrive...your best bet is to either head towards Medusa in Frontier Adventures, or head toward Movietown. These are the two most popular sections in the park...Last weekend, the only ride that had a line was Medusa, you might want to head there first and get it over with so you can have more time for everything else. When you get into Movietown hit Batman than hit Chiller(go on the Batman side, it is not as rough on your head as Robin is).

After conquering Movietown and Medusa, I would make a U-Turn and head towards the front of the park again, and hit GASM and Rolling Tunder. By this time it will probabally be past lunch time. After lunch, take a little break, and than take the time to enjoy all the new flat-rides that were added in 1999. Flat rides you should consider hitting are Twister(located in front of GASM), Chaso(Fantasy Forest),Spinmeister(Fantasy Forest), Evolution(Fantasy Forest...caution caution very dizzying and you WILL be hanging upside down for a nice amount of the ride), Time Warp(Lakefront, Chance Double Inverter, Pendulum(Fantasy Forest, Huss Frisbee).

After this...go back and hit all of the coasters again...hopefully for you there will be no lines like on most weekdays and you will be able to ride everything multiple times.

Hope this helped you out.

What's the best route to get to SFGA from the Knoebels area. From either I-81 or I-78. I was thinking on going to Allentown to get on the turnpike. And what's the piercing policy for the Chiller? Do facials need to come out or just in the ears?

YEa I think getting on the Turnpike from allentown would be your best bet. I think it is only Ear piercings that need to come out.
Nope. All piercings above the neck line on males and females must come out prior to riding(when you hear it enough you memorize it), unless you like energency rooms and stiches(my addition).
I was wondering about that policy. I think the facial piercing are going too far. since when does the restraints cover your face or ride with your head turned into the restraint. Jokers Junk @ SFA stated all piercings but let me ride by removing just earings. It's just time consuming and a pain to remove 16 piercings to get on a 2 minute ride.

Somehow I doubt my fiancee's nose screw, barely visible in the first place, would ever make contact with the harness. They didn't say anything to her on Jinx (or about the earings, for that matter).
