Six Flags Great Adventure

I was at six flags for a day with my family and my friend. During the middle of the day all rides closed due to a severe thunderstorm. After the storm we went back into the park. This was great because many people left and the lines were shortened. Then my friend and I got in line for Nitro. When we get on we were the last ride because of another severe thunderstorm coming. We then go on The Dark Knight thinking we could wait out the rain. We get out and it is pouring. We run o a snack stand overhang for cover. All of the sudden lightning strikes a tree nearly 30ft away from us. It was the loudest thing i have ever heard. We then ended the day on the front car of El Toro.

Wow! You were quite persistent! I think after I saw the tree next to me get struck by lightning, I would have been out like a shout. I must say though, I love attempting to hold out against the rain because many people DO leave, and then it is like being in the park with a private party.

Yea after the second storm the number of people greatly decreased. We stay at the park from the moment it opens to the moment it closes.
