Martin Bozer has been named vice president and general manager of Six Flags' Fiesta Texas theme park in San Antonio. The move comes as a promotion for Bozer, who has served as director of operations at the Northwest San Antonio park since 2000. He replaces Melinda Ashcraft, who announced last month that she was leaving the position to accept a promotion at the Six Flags park located in her native Atlanta.

I hope that he can continue to run the park as well as Mrs. Ashcraft did during her time there. The atmosphere at the park is wonderful, and its always kept clean and is worked by some decent employees.

If Bozer does well and continues the annual Fiesta Fest event I am positive I will make the yearly drive from Atlanta just to be there. It's definitely one of the nicest events of the year, and SFFT remains my favorite Six Flags park out of all the ones I've been to.

Good luck Mr. Bozer*** This post was edited by Krypton 1/8/2004 9:06:32 PM ***
