How much do you think Disneyland has to pay for the Mickey Mouse IP?

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

RideMan:

Pity poor Cedar Fair with no in-house IP to exploit.

Cedar Fair execs kicking themselves for not developing the Boneville characters into an animated sitcom.

Cedar Fair does have some "in-house" IP. I'd love to see them develop them further. I'm thinking Phantom Theater characters off the top of my head. The Banshee is not only a coaster, but a character. And The monsters in Mystic Timbers. Boneyard skeletons, as mentioned above. And...

Now that I think about it, those are all some pretty creepy characters. Never mind.

Alfundo and Alfeardo at Dorney?

Watch the tram car please....

I'd watch a show featuring all of the Cedar Point FrontierTown characters. But knowing Cedar Fair, the plot would be way too hard to follow, inconsistent from episode to episode and somehow get cancelled *after* the ratings and profits started to climb.

Last year and now into this year, they took the haunt 360 zone Tombstone Terror-Tory and gave it a retheme to CP's IP Doc Phil McCoffer the snake oil salesman, which included adding his name into the name of the zone. They have a stage show on the hour when the zone is open the Doc selling his elixirs.
