Six Flags entertainers?

Okay, so, in every Six Flags commercial, there is a picture of Buggs Bunny or some other Warner Brothers cartoon character, yet, in all my years of going to Six Flags Great America, I cannot once recall seeing an entertainer there? And while I wasn't really looking for one, I never saw one at Six Flags Marine World either. I know they come out and do the parade thing at night, but other than that, do the entertainers even exist at six flags parks, and if they do, which ones?

You know how they say every day is the first day of the rest of your life. Well that's true for every day but one, the day you die. "American Beauty"

At SFGAm, there are characters in front of the park, at the Orleans Gazebo, and probably at the kids' play areas: Camp Cartoon Network and LT NP.
At SFOG, they are usually in the front of the park just past the entrance.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

SFSTL there are two seprate groups of "charactures". One for the lonney Tunes show. In which they do a 15 min. Outing before every show. And then theres "in park", which usally goes out for 30 mins out of every hour. And they also do the opening song and dance at 9:30ish.

SFGAdv has them roaming about, usually near the front gates.

Ask yourself; When was the last time YOU visited Conneaut Lake Park?

I see them at SFMM all the time near the front gate!

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes, that way if they get upset with you, they'll be that much further away from you with no shoes.

SFA usually have them roaming about between the front gate and the theatre at the end of main street when the parks open and then again around 3:00 at the theatre.

SFOT has a gazebo set up for kids line up and see them in the kids section of the park.

I didn't see any at SFGam last week and SFFT has pre-arranged times you can see them.

I saw most of the characters at SFA last week during the "Bugs & Pals Going Hollywood" (or something like that. The show runs several times a day) show, and I frequently see them on Main Street. I cannot imagine peforming in those costumes in the 90 degree heat, even though the show was only 15 minutes long. At least they had a fan running on the side of the stage.

At SFGAm they used to have them roaming Carousel Plaza, But they don't anymore. Now, they are in the Looney Tunes National Park and at the Orleans Gazebo.

Favorite Coasters at SFGAm: 1.)Superman 2.) Viper 3.) Batman 4.) Bull 5.)Eagle

I have pictures of my daughter and bugs bunny at SFA last year. My husband and bugs bunny at SFGAm in 1992. And myself and Slyvester at SFoG last year. All of the pictures were taken at the front gates of the parks.

I've also seen quite a few characters at SFWoA around the front gate on the rides side.

Ive only seen them at SFGAm in that area in Orleans Place near Power Dive. Its like a little gazebo thing where you can take pictures. I've never seen them anywhere else. My mom always tells me that when she would visit the park before I was born, they would be everywhere. Funny how I never saw one at the Magic Kingdom when I was there except at some show at Cinderella Castle!

"Before you insult anyone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do insult them, you'll be a mile away and have there shoes.

At SFEG they have 4 shows a day in Kiddieland. And after the show they come down from the stage and meet the kids. They come out just to walk around the park probably 2 or 3 times a day too. They have ridden the Crazy Bus with the kids a few times too.

But why would you think that anything you see in a Six Flags commerical is actually at the park???

Do any US SF parks actually have Batman going around his area? I know after the stunt show, there's a meet and greet... but I think that's it.
There werent any in SFOT this past weekend...unless if they were all the kids area...but I didnt go in there....and there was no show for them to be appearing in so I wasnt sure what was going on...I was a little miffed cause every other time I've been I've seen many of them.

Intamin's right, the heat has something to do with it.

Those costumes are essentially ovens (though, some more than others) and when the temperature is as hot as it has been recently, there is a serious safety/heat stroke issue to worry about.

The majority at SFGAm (during the peak of summer) show up in the Gazebo, as it is shaded, and, well, really easy to get to. There have been some out by the main carousel, but that's not as frequent.

...oh, and SFGAm has two kids areas, of course.
