Six Flags Discounts?

I'm searching the internet, but I'd like to know if there are any good deals out there? 2 for 1 or half price admission..

My girlfriend and I are heading to Dallas on a whim this week and would like to hit up the park. Since we're on such short notice, we didn't plan financially for the trip so any little bit helps!

I've seen a sunkist $10 off deal, but I'm just checkin' to see if you guys know of any spectacular specials going on right now.

Thanks in advance!

i noticed on the ad for a food store called aldi (http://www.aldifoods.com/ -- see if there is one near you), for the special purchases, they are selling six flags water guns and slip and slides and stuff for $12.99 each [http://www.aldifoods.com/special_purchases_02/product_2410.html]... but it also says that each box comes with a "bonus ticket"... whatever that means.

I don't know if they are BOGO's or just plain free tickets, but something someone might want to look into and report back here about -- if they are just free ticket,s i might have to pick up like 20 of them and sell them or something :P

EDIT:
i just did a search on e-bay for it for a bigger photo, looks like its for a free CHILD admission, and it looks like you have to purchase another child ticket, or an adult ticket, to get it. sorry 'bout that, but it was worth a try :) -- you can still get a cool slide for $13 tho...

Call the park directly. Works every time.

Later,

Fill up your tank with gas an bring the receipt. You get $15 of each ticket.

Thanks,

I hear there's a special promotion offering free cardiac exercise with every $15 paid parking spot by generously discontinuing the use of trams.

Sonic also has (had?) a $10 coupon.

I read about the Gas thing, but the article I read said it was only going on through May. I'll call the park directly though to find out.

Muchos Gracias for all the responses.

Do you have AAA? The discount varies by park.
Im wondering the same about SFNE because im going i remember they had them a few years ago at wal-mart in brunswick me. Cause im coming up from there, i know its not a hot bed of activity but its a far cry from the park and wonder if there is some kinda discount i may get there, because i know the parks are expensive and i will have to save a few pennies to and fro because im going there from ohio. So i would appreciate any info. Give it to me in a PM because i dont want to screw up this thread for texas.

If you smile at them right! they might take a few bucks off. I personally know the intern.

But you could always put gas into your car, that might be worth some money off of it

Another thing to consider (if this is part of a vacation) is that you buy a Six Flags SP at any Six Flags you get into all of them, even at the most expensive parks it will pay for itself in 3 days.

That was a May-only promotion

Currently, you can bring in a Coke can for a discount, but I don't remember how much.

[edit] Isaac Hartiens, I just noticed that you already said the May thing, sorry *** Edited 6/14/2006 5:20:41 AM UTC by ClarkKentuckyKingdom***

I called SFoT this morning, and they told me the gas discount was good through JUNE 30th. I'm not sure if this consistent with all of the parks, but I'm pleased to say we'll be saving $30 bucks on our trip AND my girlfriends company is paying for the gas, so its a win/win.

WOO. OH Titan, it's been too long...

Sometimes work places have discounted tickets through their employee associations. Or if you're a member (or know a member of) AAA, inquire there.
