"That park has seen very good capital investment for what it is. Furthermore, who is to say that attendance is down?"

According to the 2002 Year-End issue of Amusement Business the park was down 7% last year.

The reason attendence is down at SFDL is that they haven't put anything new in the park, except that lame water flume. They have two good rides at SFDL. Super man ride of steel, and the Sling Shot, which you have to pay extra for.
jw hoogs couldn't have said that one any better. Attendance usually rises when a major new attraction is added. A major attraction hasn't been added to SFDL since superman ride of steel. When that was added attendance when way up.
