Six Flags Bonus Weekends

Has anyone heard of any bonus weekend for SFA or SFGADV? I checked Sixflags.com and saw nothing and googled Six Flags bonus weekends. I usually get an email but I don't recall seeing one.

SFA closed yesterday. In the past, they've never opened in November for any sort of bonus weekend. I wish they would, the weekend after they close is usually a decent weekend.

However, PKD is open Nov. 5th and 6th.

Unfortunatly, you missed it, SFA added October 1st as a "bonus day." I know you were looking for a day to be added to the end of Fright Fest, but SFA added theirs to the beginning of Fright Fest.. sorry!

Bummer. Thanks Guys I got out to SFGADV tonight for 2 hours. Rode Nitro and Medusa and Batman all walkons. Was nice to get to the park since I didn't get to any parks at all this summer.

REALLY sweet too, we've had some fabulous times with the park PR folks in the past, and they are *genuine* in their interest in what we've had to say...

Sad I won't be going this year... :(

P.S. AFAIK, *any* season pass from a SF park will get you in to these "bonus weekends"...and virtually the entire stock of park merchandise is on sale, since they don't want to have to store it and get it back out next year. LOL, once I even got a SFAW hat on the bonus weekend sale...(before I even got to SFAW).

Bonus weekends RULE, every park that can, should! :)

I always thought putting extra weekends on the calendar with a "*" next to them and a disclaimer that says select rides will run would be a good way to handle bonus weekends for parks in the north. Perhaps even noting what rides would run on bonus weekends. Then if your able to run more, great, if not then no one gets disappointed.
