I just got back from aw and the section where x-lr8,viper,texas tornado,tidalwave are were all closed.That whole section of the park was closed
At IAAPA CCI had confirmed that they would be building a new woodie for SFAW for 2001 but since then there have been rumors that Six Flags Inc. has pulled the plug on the project.
Why would they pull the plug on a CCI like that??? Astroworld needs a world class ride. All the Six Flags parks have them:

And what does SFAW have in terms of a world class ride???? The only thing that I can think of is Serial Thriller, and you know that don't count.
