Once again proving that maybe these April openings aren't a good thing, it once again rained on opening day at SFA. Two differences from last year was that it rained really hard for most of the day and it was really cold. Driving to the park I thought there would be no way they would open. I was wrong. A small but obviously loyal crowd was also waiting when I arrived. There were only four other enthusiasts in the park. Every coaster was running and two rides that were closed most of last year-Iron Eagle and Typhoon Seacoaster were back in operation. Two of the water rides were closed, but weren't really necessary as me and everyone else were soaked to the skin. The only real noticeable change was to Superman Ride of Steel. It appears to have all new seating. The front lower seats also are closer together than the back seats now. Only the red train was running, but it would have been hard for the blue train to run because it wasn't there. Superman also has a new girder support under one of the bunny hills for the entrance to Batwing. Kudos go out to the ride ops at S:ROS who were very friendly and allowed us multiple re-rides for the last half-an-hour before closing. In the biggest dissapointment Joker's Jinx didn't receive the lap-bar only treatment like Flight of Fear. As for construction, Batwing looks great and there is track all over the park. The Skycoaster will also be in Gotham City, but no signs of parts or construction yet. It looks like Batwing may bring in the tourist as I ran into a large group from New York who thought Batwing would be open. They were lucky the park was even open:)

What are you talking about. I went that day and there was no lines. I could actually walk on to SROS and all the other rides. I rode Two Face three times in the back. And got multiple rides on all of the other coasters. While a only stayed about 2 hours. I while also the only rider on Joker's Jinx for a few rides.
