You're not in your right mind.

Yeah. Twirling around to jam bands will do that to ya ;).

So will riding rollie coasters.

I've seen Weird Al in concert at least 5 times. He puts on a really good show, it's almost as much about the theatrics as it is the music.

Although I agree with Mike, most of his albums since Bad Hair Day (in 96 I think?) have been declining in quality except for a couple of big hits. I've mostly attributed that to a decline in the quality of the stuff he has to pick from when looking for pop songs to parody.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I always wished he'd do an album of oldies parodies of songs from the 50's and 60's.

I wish he'd do more songs about food.

I saw him most recently in Charlotte. In fact, both times I saw him in Charlotte. Most recent concert was at Ovens Auditorium, and the first time was a couple years ago at Carowinds.

Josh, you should come see DMB in Charlotte. Free lodging!

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I'm still waiting for him to do a Christmas Album. He's already got 2 songs that I know of, but he needs to do more.

I might do Charlotte. I'm doing SPAC in Saratoga Springs, NY though - that's my long haul for the time being.

The venue looks amazing. http://www.spac.org

Yep, Christmas At Ground Zero is my second fave X-mas song ever..topped only by I Found The Brains Of Santa Claus by Jason and the Strap-Tones. Thank You, Dr. Demento!

That's why I love Family Guy. It shows how gullable some people can be. Like would you like to wait in line for free? Or would you like to pay for it? I'll take free.

Another good one is the South Park episode where the guys are waiting in this huge maze of people to ride the parks newest ride, and when they get to the end of the line there is nothing there. WTF!! No, boys your wrong you rode the ride. This is called the line ride! They all go NO!!

And, then Cartman comes up and says hey you guys, I just got pictures of us riding the line for for $5.00 each. SWEET!!

I also wanted to mention that I have also been to a Weird Al concert. It was pretty cool. I think he has one of the longest songs ever, in "The Biggest Ball OF Twine In Minnesota." He also did Amish Paradise and some of his other Hits. But my favorites were "One More Minute." "I lost On Jeopardy." And, "Like A Surgeon." Where he comes on stage with a chainsaw." A lot better than I expected.

Last edited by Timber-Rider,

I'll concur. Weird Al always puts on a great show.

Lots of love for the Weird One. I'm loving it. I still have the dollar bill he autographed for me outide the Bottom Line in NYC in, I think, 1994 or thereabouts.

Wow, South Park copied the Simpsons with "the line ride"? Who'd have thought?

You keep waiting in your "free" lines, and I'll wave from the fast lane, as I enjoy my day the way I actually want to.

Just make sure to look down your nose at all the losers waiting in line. Until you do that, you really haven't gotten your money's worth.

In fact, I think the fast pass queue should be 12" higher than the regular queue, so you don't even have to make an effort.

How about this one: a line for the egress (aka. exit). And of course you can use your Q-Bot to get there quicker if you're in a hurry. P.T. Barnum would be proud.
