Sim Theme Park Question

Ok, I apoligize. This is after all the RCT forum, and yes RCT is the better game. However I've been recently addicted to the difference in play of sim theme park, and I've hit a stumbling block. I need to know how to build any kind of inversion with any type of roller coaster. Sounds simple enough, but the "loop-the-loop" button is not there, just the "build normal track" button. I have 4 keys, and have made it into all parks except space zone. I also received a challenge to build a coaster with a loop... and i can't even do it. Anyone have the game and can answer my question?

Ok, this same thing happened to me and I didn't find out how to do loops until the space level. I don't exactly remember how but on the coaster building panel there should be a button that is either greyed out or just not noticeable in the bottom right. Once you press that, you have the ability to make loops. If this doesn't work then I will look at the game to make sure.

Alright thanks. Looking at the back of the CD case, i can see the loop button, which is right below the "normal track button"... and it dosent appear in my game at all... not even greyed-out. but I'll keep plugging away and try and get my 5th key for the space one unless we can firgure it out. Since i received a "challenge" to build a loop coaster in the wonderland one though, i don't see how you wouldn't be able to untill space one.

I must not have taken the challenge... I guess, don't really remember:). But yeah just press where the button should be from the pictures on the case and stuff.

To be able to build loops in STP you need to research the upgrade for that ride (It is either the first or second upgrade, I forget). You can build loops on most of the coasters, if not all of them, in all four levels. Try looking at your instruction manuals that came with the game for more help.
