Silverstar track completes circuit with final section

Posted | Contributed by olov

The last section of track for Europa Park's new B&M, Silverstar, has been installed. The trains are also on-site. Station work, grout work and of course testing remain.

MAN!  I wish I was in Germany.  :-(  Now the US has something to be envious of. Hehe.

You're kidding right?  We have at least 6 coasters that will top this.

Sweet.  That coaster looks like it's gonna be really good.  I hope they have videos of it and stuff at that site.

My wishlist for the 2002 season includes 121 different coasters, 92 of which I have not ridden.

A sense a note of jealousy Buzz head. ;)

Whether or not we have better coasters, I'm still envious of that monster.  How can you not be?  It's a B&M hyper!

The legend lives!

As if we weren't already envious of Nemesis, Oblivion, Colossus, Colossos, Expedition Ge-Force, White Cyclone and the dozens of other great coasters outside the U.S.

On a positive note, I'm glad people on this site know the difference between "jealous" and "envious"!  :)

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."

can't wait for my trip in september :)
Is that 2-accross seating i see?

It sure does looks like it, but ther is a gap between the 2 seats so maybe they just havent finished putting them in, if it is 2 across thats VERY VERY un B&M-like , but so is the lift and supports so ya never know, on another note, the trains look very floorless *** This post was edited by DrachenFire04 on 2/12/2002. ***
sure looks like it
B&M's first 2 across seating ?

anyway Mister Bollinger & Mister Maybillard deliverd the fist train PERSONALLY !
they where in the truck that deliverd it at the park!
i'll see if i can find the pic of it... *** This post was edited by Madhollander on 2/12/2002. ***

Yep, that is two across seating. Probably why there are only steps on one side of the lift without any sort of powered evacuation stairs like S:UF and Raptor have. -Allan

Buzz head-How can you say we have 6 coasters that will top it when no one has ridden it yet?

Think it could be 2 across Mercedes Benz luxury seating? ;)

pic shows 4 head supports, so 4 seats (i think)

Unless the train length is drastically increased, capacity would be awful for a 2 seater. Nope, it's gotta be a 4. This is B&M folks.

If you don't have it, get the Screamin' Serpent.

I'm not sure about the Andy. Goliath is a two-seater with terriffic capacity.

Have you ever considered that maybe it's not the park that's the problem, but YOU?
