Silver Dollar City's new Powder Keg closed after minor accident

Thankfully the accident wasn't as bad as was reported in the closed thread earlier today. All 4 only were taken to the hospital as a precaution, so that was great news. Hopefully Silver Dollar knows the problem and will get it fixed soon, can't wait to try this ride out.

the accident was reported to be that serious in the post earlier today that was closed, at least thats what i thought. im sure the guy just didnt think to put it in the news section, might be new to CBuzz......good luck to SDC, i hoep they get powder keg back up soon.

I am visiting SDC the first weekend in April. Do you think that theyll have the brake fixed by then or not? How long does it usually take to fix this kind of problem?

Did they have a separate company handle the ride controls? I hope so.

S&S has it's own, internal, controls department. THey don't contract it out like some other companies. Mike and the rest of controls guys at S&S (and the ones that came over from Arrow) are all very good and professional people.

Why would you say "I hope so" when you don't even know them or thier qualifications?
