Silver Dollar City and Branson -- Santa Claus Alert

If you are going to Branson and Silver Dollar City during the 4th of July week or the weekend following, be ready for a surreal experience. Hundreds of Santa Clauses are going to be in the Branson area.

A convention of professional Santa Clauses is taking place in Branson at this time. Many of them have real beards so the Kris Kringle look will certainly be in. It will be interesting to see how the kids react if they see something like this.

The problem with having a Santa convention in Santa Claus, IN is a lack of hotel accommodations in the immediate area. Branson is a good location because of the abundance of accommodations and because there is so much to do there.
