Construction is moving forward on Knott's Silver Bullet as the vertical loop has been completed. Photos appear on ACN.

This is the first I've seen of this ride - man, that is one shallow first drop. I like it.

Me too! (oops...TOS, TOS!)

I like coaster experiences that build. With the elevated loops and shallow drop, it'll really feel like flying.

Yah, I'm a Knott's fanboy. Sue me. ;)

By the way, I like the color scheme.

Who's idea was it to make the lift not match the rest of the ride. It's ugly. The rest of the ride's color scheme looks good though. I need to take that flight from Detroit to LA this Christmas.

Perhaps the lift was originally for a different ride that fell through. ;)
I don't mind that it's two colors, but a transition of some sort was in order... I mean, are you telling me that Knott's couldn't find someone who could spraypaint a gradient on that thing *somewhere* on the mean streets of Buena Park? :)
I still hate the lift colors like a red-headed stepchild, but the rest of the ride post lift looks great color wise. The drop looks to be quite cool as well...should be an interesting ride.
The lift dominates the skyline along with Supreme Scream and Xcelerator, something I didn't realize from the pictures. I don't mind the colors at all, and the first drop might turn out to be fun and unique.
I like the red on red color scheme with the silver supports better personally in a post modern deconstructivist sort of way. The yellow with red makes me think of McDonald's. That's just me being artsy-fartsy I guess.
just to proove a point: i take extreme offense to that comment in which you compare the lift to a red headed step-child (in which the context was negative). T-Bird, you have offended my sensitivty. <end mockery of board> .....................................................Just joking, anyway this ride looks amazing.
it would be nicer if the lift hill blended from the red to the orange, but it still looks alright i guess
I would have rather seen the entire ride be red on red, than this color scheme. I'm very excited about the ride, and look forward to riding it, but that yellowish orange and red color scheme just doesn't look good to me. What's with CF and their obsessions with painting coasters red, yellow, and orange lately?! :?The first drop looks great though, and after the water is back in, it will be a really beautiful and exciting part of the ride! :)
