Silver Bullet construction continues at Knott's Berry Farm. The lift hill has been topped off and the drop is beginning to take shape.

Can't wait to ride this one, looks like it will be a great addition to the park! As far as new rides go, Knott's really seems to be on track. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
I agree. Outside of CP, I think they have the best collection of the chain. I regained my love for inverted this last week on Top Gun. I am SB one will be worlds better!

The first drop seems like it will be fairly shallow...however I don't think that's a bad thing. In facy, I think it will increase the sensation of flying and help keep the pacing thoughout the rest of the ride.

Now all they'll need is a nicer woodie in and around the rapids ride. ;) ;)

You don't want much now, do you Janfrederick?

Well...if I had my way...I'd fit 3 woodies back there. ;)

Seriously though, I didn't think they'd add any major coasters for quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised by the announcement. And althought it isn't wood, the layout looks like a lot of fun.

That drop is going to be steeper...just watch.

Naw, save that space for the Giga!

And I sure hope you're right Matthew, as of now, starting off pretty rampish looking:

Sort of reminds me of Alpengeist's first drop: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery277.htm?Picture=12

I still think PGA's Top Gun has one of the best first drops of any invert, the way it twist at the top and dives straight down, rather than twisting the whole length of the drop like most. Sure hope SB's ends up being just as steep and as good. Regarless, the 1,2,3 punch of the last 2 inversions directly into the helix finale, all done over water, may end up being one of the best finishes of any coaster.

Well, this is my first time posting in this web site. Anyways, I hope the drop on SB gets steeper and faster. I was there last saturday and the ride looks awsome. Since most of the ride is going to be over the lake, that is going to make it really cool. You guys should check out the video on http://badnitrus.coasterbuzz.com/
Welcome to CB CM25! Yeah, Keith did an amazing job with the video and everthing else, very talented guy! Although I personally hope it's not 100% accurate. A steeper drop would be cool, and a short flat section of track before the Cobra Roll ala Raptor would also be a nice touch. Will be very interesting to see the finished product.
