Silver Bullet animation added to Badnitrus

Posted | Contributed by Badnitrus

Check out the latest computer animation on Badnitrus featuring Silver Bullet, Knott's Berry Farms's recently announced B&M inverted coaster. This animation was also shown at the No Coaster Con event in Chicago, and features many off-ride views of the coaster as well as POV video. The high resolution version requires membership in CoasterBuzz Club.

AWESOME. Not much else to say but AWESOME.

I just wonder what folks in "upper management" at the different parks think if/when your stuff is passed along to them.

Great work.

Freakin great stuff, Keith! I like it much better slowed down. :)

My favorite shot is when you show Silver Bullet and Monte in their vertical loops together, that was damn creative. Great sound effects, too...but who *was* that jackhole yelling during the POV?! ;)

Again, awesome job!

Well, I got something to look forward to when I get home.
Unfortunately, that isn't for another 7hours!

If it's as good as the still shots of Silver Bullet, I'm going to wet my pants.

It's good to see that there are such talented people here on this site. Your site truely shows how creative you are. You are definitely able to capture the excitement of coasters in your videos with great style. Good luck in your future endeavors. Bravo!!!

Legendary sez: "Freakin great stuff, Keith!"

Now there's an unbiased opinion ;)

Seriously, this was a true highlight of No Coaster Con. They way you depicted not only the park and rides surrounding Silver Bullet but the city and mountains...awesome work, Keith! I wish I was 1/2 as talented as you.

Nicely done.
Look very closely at the video, you will see people walking on the paths, feet kicking on the ride, the Frisbee moving along with the other coasters. This by far is the best video Keith has produced yet. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Oh my. Absolutely amazing. You're going to make real video cameras obsolete :)
As always, great work Keith.

Joe, does this mean you'll be changing your name from "Legendary" to "Jackhole" ;)

It'd have been even greater if Keith could have posted a 640x480 sized video of the animation (and all other past animations)to just see how clearly & detailed those animations go...

...even if it was for C-Buzz Club Members only, I'd sign up in a blink of an eye.

I think he likes to animate the cobra rolls. I think there were 7 different shots of it.
Thanks for the compliments everyone! CoasterArtGuy - I'm glad you noticed the people are actually walking on the paths, it is hard to notice since there aren't really any still shots with people on the paths - But it makes it all the more worthwhile in the subtle details are noticed!

Mamoosh - A highlight of No Coaster Con? You really think so??? :) I think I enjoyed most all of the video of news media riding front seat on TTD, that was hilarious!

Well yeah, Keith...the TTD media day news clips were funny, too. But what you did takes talent and is more impressive, IMHO.

Once again....

"BRILLIANT!!!"

Yah, the people walking floored me. Dayum.

I wonder if the shot with Monty and Bullet going through the loops while Jaguar threads the needle will ever happen?

Too freakin' cool.

Awesome video as always, the only comment I have is all the ugly netting that Cedar Fair will put above the midways is missing. LoL
Keith:

Nice work... but that goes without saying!

In some of your animations, there are other coasters. In this one, there is Jaguar and Montezuma's Revenge. In your animation of Batman: TDK @ SFNE, there is the park's Vekoma SLC. Obviously, those coasters had to be created and animated (to some degreee). Have you ever thought about posting them on the site for those that are willing to download them? I'm sure that I'm not the ONLY one that would like to ride a virtual SLC... right?

Once again, absolutely beautiful work!

Nah, I think you'd be the only one...who wants "virtual headbanging?" ;)

Not to speak for Keith (even though I am going to, ha), I think a major reason he wouldn't ever put animations for those rides up is because they are not done as meticulously as the "premier" attraction in the vid -- meaning they don't have nearly the amount of detail in them. They serve their purpose since they are far away and you can't see the imperfections in them.

Of course, I'll let the master say what the real reason is, since that is just my guess. ;)
