Silly Mistakes & Stupid Decisions

how about retro fitting an Arrow mine train ride with Stand up Trains?

Here's a winner: the mystery guy buying the Big Dipper and then trying to sell it off at a profit even when nobody was willing to take it as a donation.

Why eeew? That actually happened. Failed miserably, but it happened.

R-P, eww thinking about how that $$$ could have been redirected toward something cooler than a stand-up on an Arrow mine track.

Although it did well initially, Heritage USA comes to mind.

As most ponzi schemes do

I must be dreaming. I haven't read much since I got back and hadn't noticed this thread. But does this mean I get to be the first to mention the POC-in-the-Box Down yonder in Jackson, NJ?

At least, I didn't NOTICE another mention of it....

I love TDK. And Skull Mountain if you were referring to that :).

I don't think TDK was a mistake, I think the way they marketed it was.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Agreed, as a mouse I think it is a great ride and my favorite wild mouse. In 2008 and some of 2009 the sign outside had it rated as a thrill ride and before it opened Mark Kane said that if you like Kingda Ka and El Toro you will like The Dark Knight. If they had said it was a moderate/family coaster I don't think the reception would have been as bad. So many people didn't even know it was a wild mouse and expected it to be like Rock N Rollercoaster. When it first opened I heard a lot of people ask if the ride goes upside down or what kind of ride it is.

TDK is what I was referring to. I think it's one of the most boring, unexciting, bland coasters out there. I like the Batman characters, I like Wild Mice, and I like indoor coasters. Putting those three aspects together, my anticipation was VERY high. I don't think I've ever smiled ONCE while riding it, and that's kind of a deal-breaker for someone who likes coasters as much as I do...because I normally smile when I'm riding a coaster of ANY sort.

But, Tek...I'd never dis Skully!
