Sikh and Muslim groups file complaint against Boomers in California over headgear

Several Sikhs and Muslims in California announced filing discrimination complaints with the state on Tuesday, alleging that they were unfairly told they couldn't wear turbans and hijabs while riding go-karts at an amusement park with locations in California, Florida and New York.

The thing is in the screwed up country of ours, if an accident happened involving one of these turbans boomers would get sued for allowing them on the rides. They are way better off not allowing them on the rides and avoiding any potential injuries. It's a shame in this country everybody thinks they have the right to do every thing no matter what the potential consequences may be.

I knew a couple of Muslim ladies who did not wear scarfs or head coverings. When asked why they said it was a personal decision. A modesty issue. It is not dictated by religion. Islam says they are to dress modestly. They also said many women, but not all by any means, who wear head coverings are told to (forced) by a male member of the family.

Maybe women who wear the head coverings can wear a helmet to hold it in place while driving.

And that's always a smart look!

In addition to the Muslim headgear ban, I would hope they also have a no long skirt, ball cap, wig, visor, or weave policy to go with it.

I especially hope that they've banned Huey Lewis, because that could get really ugly.
