Signs you might be a die-hard coaster junkie

Guilty on many accounts!

Tattoos of 12 coasters including one that was renamed before opening, and one that was never built at a park.

Vanity plates. Current: VOYAGE - Retired: CP RULZ

Proposed to wife on Magnum, married on Voyage, honeymoon @ HW, SFKK, and Dollywood.

Borrowed complete stranger's kid to get kiddie credit.

Rented Flash Pass @ SFOG and wore the batteries out and needed to replace before park closed for evening.

Drove from Ohio to Denver on a weekend just to ride coasters at old Elitch Gardens before closing for good. Arrived at park on Saturday evening and rode each coaster once and left. Was in Des Moines, Iowa Sunday afternoon to get credits at Adventureland. Was back in Ohio Monday just in time to make it to work!

Man! that's dedication. The craziest coaster sidetrip I've done was stop in at Knoble's after moving my sister out to Indy! I stopped, grabed a lap on Pheonix and Twister, and hit the road again.

Other than that, I drove 2 1/2 hours just for a day trip at SFNE. It was worth it though!

I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!

I regularly drive 2 hours one way to hit Waldameer for day trips, and nearly 2 1/2 for day trips to Kennywood.

My friends and I have done the 2-hours-to-Waldameer-on-a-Friday-after-work on at least three occasions. We pretty much ride every coaster that isn't RF2, do one or both dark rides, then ride RF2 the rest of the night. In my opinion, it's well worth the $15 and 4 hours in the car. :) I love watching the sun set from the top of RF2's lift hill!

Most of my SFMM visits require a 3-4 hour round trip, so I do that on a regular basis too. KBF is a 30 min round trip.

My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

47. You make your kid a roller coaster costume for Trick-or-Treating or one for yourself for a costume party.

48. You look like Mr. Six.

49. The only place you'll eat fries is Knoble's Grove.

50. You run a dedidcated coaster site.

51. Your home page is CBuzz, PointBuzz or another park website.

#47 I did no such thing. She wanted to dress up like the beast. I just made the costume.

BTW, she is just as much a coaster junkie as I am. She has ridden all 210 different coasters with me this year.

Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.

52. You have a separate room in your house solely designated for amusement collectibles and memorabilia.

Edit: Oops! Accidentally copied sign #21. My bad.

^ Don't you have a tatoo or two of Raptor, Jo?

Actually I have 4 Raptor tats, 2 Cedar Point tats (one of which is the entire skyline which I had Skyhawk and MaxAir added to this year) and the MF logo.
I was being sarcastic when I said that!!! ;)

52. You have rcdb.com bookmarked on your cell phone, and have used it to settle at least 5 arguments while waiting in line.

47. You can pretty much name all the coasters at a park anywhere in the country (or perhaps the world) on command.

48. You summer vacation plans begin when you decide what parks you want to visit this year

49. People mistake you for a cast member and ask you for directions in a park (happened to me at Disney World while wearing a WDW polo multiple times in one day at Epcot.)

50. CF, CP, KI, SFGAm, SFGAdv, WDW, BGW, BGT, SFOG, SFOT, WOF, GCI, PTC... All these letters mean something for you.

51. Youre excited to ride a timberliner next year.

52. You not only know there is a Santa Claus Indiana but youve been there multiple times

53. You hate trims

54. Youre pissed if you dont make it to a park at least 15 min before opening.

55. Youre excited for opening day every spring but you arent a baseball fan.

I have had that happen too. People at SFMM have walked up and asked me for directions to certain coasters, probably since I always wear a coaster shirt to the park. Also, on my last visit to KBF a man who was boarding Montezooma's at the same time I was asked me where he should put his loose articles. I was wearing a KBF shirt at the time.

I had a cashier at Dollywood ask me for an employee ID card to get a discount because I gave someone in front of me directions.

On #50, you forgot B&M, GG, KD, SFNE, CLP, YC, TTD, MF, KG, KW, WT, MS & BS.

Fair enough.

57. You know how many bolts hold TTD together but can't remeber your child's birthday.

59. You go out of your way on a busy day to visit guest relations to write up an employee who actually did his/her job so well that it made your day.

60. Your old wristbands hang down your wall like military metals.

52a. You construct an addition to your house, so you could have a separate room designated for amusement collectibles and memorabilia.

61. When looking to buy a new home, you're more concerned about where your collection of park collectibles will go, than whether the furniture will fit, how much the taxes are, or if the house was built on a Superfund site.
