Shuttle Coasters' Speed

how can you make it go faster than 45mph, or whatever sad speed it goes? i dont have any EP's, so do i need LL or CF to crank up the speed?

Isn't there an option for the Powered Launch Mode to set this?

A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.
There is an option in powered launch mode.  Beware--I increased the speed and shot the cars right off the end of the track.  Everyone died.
Ok little kiddes, gather around. The powered launch or launched shuttle mode can make the coaster go to speeds of 58 miles per hour on the Steel coaster, i think 60-70 mph on Corkscrews and 61 on Inverted. In LL, you have the air-powered coaster that can go up to like 120 or so. CAUTION: you have to design the coaster carefully or else it will fly off the track and blow up.(unless that's what you want it to do.

If you are adjusting the speed, you can reset the coaster (double click the red "stop" button while it's testing) as the cars fly off the track and it won't count as a crash, if you can do so before the message appears that it is crashing.

Another tip, always try to keep an extra section of track on the runout -- I've had shuttle loops run to the end of the track just fine for months, then suddenly crash though I haven't increased the speed at all. There's nothing quite so sour as having such a money-maker crash and no one will go on it for weeks afterwards! Ugh.
