Tonight at 7pm on the travel channel, a new show called "Extreme terror rides-high speed" is on.
I cought the show in the middle of it today, and have never seen this one before.
Also at 6pm(same channel), there is a show on extreme rides "drops".
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I saw it the other day- it's really nothing to get too excited about. You aren't going to learn anything you didn't already know. It really feels like an hour long commercial, using the same footage over and over again.
The parts of the first show I mentiond, looked pretty cool. Did not seem like a commercial to me.

I think the "Death Defying Drops" show is a new one. Caught it last week.
Yea, I missed that one.
Just set the dvr to catch it tonight though.

There are two new "Extreme Terror Rides" on the Travel Channel ... they've run quite a bit over the last week, but tonight is it for the re-runs for at least a few more weeks.
The charmingly-titled "Death Defying Drops" airs at 6 pm ET/5 pm CT tonight and the "Mega Speed" episode follows the next hour. Each includes a variety of coasters and other rides.
YMMV, but who wouldn't get a thrill out of hearing Gravity Group's Larry Bill say, "Air, baby, air"?

It was nice to see The Voyage getting some love on the Death Defying Drops, Paula! I cannot wait to get back out to your park and finally ride it!
Certain victory.
Didn't catch the drop one, I didn't know there was 2 of them...How does hades get on the speed one when voyage is faster?
Intimidator 305 the tallest most hated coaster nobody has ever ridden...
I thought these were mildly interesting. I particularly enjoyed the non-amusement-park segments. The "boogie boat" on that river in Idaho looks like a total blast, and those "river board" guys *are* crazy.
I thought the "boogie boat" looked cool too, but I just want to do the part on the rapids, and skip the 80 miles on the lazy river section.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.
