I think they definately need a Coaster or at least a new more adult attrection hopefully this is a streach hopefully it will get a Spiderman Clone.
i like USH and its fun but i think they can afford to put in something i mean it is competing with SFMM DL KBF so i agree. if they can add a whole amusement park to USF then they can at least afford a coaster out west.

are you ready to go vertical?...V2 SFMW 2001 ...
Can't compete? hehe... Maybe some day they will get something like the Hulk, but I hear their space is limited...I don't know.

Will be at Busch Gardens Williamsburg April 27th.
What ever it is, its needs to be very low to the ground. USH is still a very active movie studio and they need a coaster free skyline when they are filming.
Umm They are the worlds largest Movie and Theme Park so space is definately not limited and No it doesnt have to be low to the ground, if they can shoot a 747, and Jurrasic park at the same time then.
I think that USH should stay out of the coaster busisness. They are a nice, working movie studio that gives you a different feeling from all the history that has happened there. It would feel to , what's the word, .... commercialized there then.
But then I could go either way. Cause they do have some rides there, so I am not too sure.

May 5th, Gurnee, Illinois, "I'm sprinting for V2"
Also, there is a neighbor problem. I forgot about that one.
Well, I havn't been there so I can really say, but I can tell you that the reasons I have just heard about why they shouldn't could have been said about USF before IOA. It was and STILL IS a "a nice, working movie studio" just like in Hollywood. There even a neighborhood next to IOA also! That is why they constructed the huge metal wall behind dueling dragons (to damper the sound).
Well, for one thing the topography of USH is much different that of USF. For the most part the operation hugs the side of hill in the San Fernando valley. The sound stages, backlot and a few of the attractions are at the base of the hill. The rest of the park is at the top, connected by several long escalators and the tram tour. The Ampitheater is here also. They have enough problems with the db levels from concerts, let alone adding a coaster to this. This is another classic case where housing was allowed to be built right up to the peremeter of the property.
THey sure don't get much attention around here. A coaster would help but they still counld not compete with any of the other major so cal parks. Besides it was already mentioned that the topography is very hilly. They would have to be creative to get one in! It would be appreciated to get a coaster, but I'm not sure it would really change the attendance, as they got Jurassic Park but that still has not got people to interested in the park.

Home Park: Knotts Berry Farm!
but also Disneyland and DCA
Heck yeah. What's more is they have a great hill in the middle of the park you could fly off of.
