Should have King Kong been saved at Universal for the newer park?

I feel like Skull Island Reign Of Kong is not such a good ride because it basically looks like your watching a movie and their is nothing thrilling about riding the attraction. And once again uses 3D glasses. Which universal Orlando fans I know are sick and tired of. I know Universal doesn’t own the rights to the newer Kong movie done by WB & Legendary but wouldn’t it be cool to have a theme land dedicated to Kong & Godzilla?

Not at all.

If you don't like screens and 3D glasses don't even bother with Universal Orlando, honestly.

Do I wish the ride incorporated more of the outdoor portion at the beginning? Yes. Is the ride thrilling? For me, not really, but it's entertaining. But for the average Orlando theme park goer who knows little to nothing about parks and rides, it seems to be quite thrilling, especially with the queue actors. And the huge robot-Kong at the end impresses me every time if for no other reason than its sheer size.

It's not an A-list ride for the resort, but it's a solid addition to the lineup that previously was just a backstage area.

I was so underwhelmed by the video part of the ride, along with not being able to see a lot of the “action” due to being in the middle of the bus, that I have no recollection of the robotic Kong.

But then again, what do I know?

I didn’t even know the traM went outside. It didn’t do that in December when I rode. I thought it was ok. At least it wasn’t Fast & Furious.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

There is alternate program that skips the short outside portion when it's not busy. I really enjoy the Kong experience but wish it didn't encroach on Jurrasic Park like the "Islands" theme didn't exist.
